Waynetown – Mary Parish, 94 of Rt 1, Waynetown, died at 5:10 a.m. Monday at the DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Acadia, Fla. She was born Sept 21, 1894 in the family home in the Wesley community east of Waynetown. She had lived there all of her life and attended Waynetown High School. Mrs. Parish was a recipient of the Century Farm Award from the state of Indiana. She was a lifelong member of the Wesley Methodist Church and charter member of Wesley Extension Club. Her marriage was to Terrence Parish Sept 5, 1915. He died June 7, 1978. Surviving are five daughters; Mrs. Everett (Dorothy) Reed of Noblesville; Mrs. CW (Thelma) Banta of Rt. 1, New Richmond; Mrs. Kenneth (Esther) Rafferty of Hillsboro; Mrs. Robert (Margarite Lee) Hinds of Indianapolis, and Miss Nina Frances Parish at home.
